Dr. Secor book of poetry to be released September
John Secor, associate professor of romance languages in the Department of International and Interdisciplinary Studies at Morehead State University, has completed a book of French poetry titled “Dessert du soir (Evening Sweets).”




Students, professor make presentations at AAS conference
Morehead State University had two undergraduate students and a professor from the Department of Earth and Space Sciences give poster presentations at the 222nd meeting of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) – the leading professional society of astronomers in North America – held in Indianapolis.




KFAC to host summer arts program in July
Morehead State University’s Kentucky Folk Art Center is accepting registrations for a summer arts program for children entering fourth, fifth and sixth grades. The Summer Arts Studio will be held July 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.





Veterans honored at Expo
Morehead State University, in cooperation with veterans’ services, community, volunteer and business organizations, sponsored the first Eastern Kentucky Veterans Expo Friday, June 14, at the Boyd County Middle School.


Registration still open for college planning conference
Kentucky’s Council on Postsecondary Education is still accepting registrations through Friday, June 21, for the 26th Annual Academically Proficient High School Junior and Senior Diversity Conference.
